In response to the recent landfall of category 4 Hurricane Harvey in Texas, Eight Days of Hope (EDOH) plans to send a multitude of help to those in need.

Within the next week, EDOH will deploy its organization’s leaders and numerous volunteers to begin a major rapid response disaster relief effort. The nonprofit plans to send all its equipment to clear roads, remove debris, gut houses, as well as fulfill other needs for the community. EDOH anticipates serving in Texas for up to eight weeks.

During the disaster relief effort, EDOH will launch its new Feeding Ministry. The recently donated 53 ft. long feeding unit will focus on providing nourishment to members of the community and aid workers. The Feeding Ministry is able to produce and feed 2,000 people over a two-hour span.
