Northstar Equip Ministry
Residency
The Equip Ministry Residency is for anyone 18 or older who wants to grow as a disciple. Participants will serve in the church, gain first-hand ministry experience, acquire a missional mindset and participate in leadership coaching. The goal of the Equip Residency is to discover, develop, and deploy missional leaders.
• Northstar Church will receive Level 1 (L1) residents each year (male & female). Approved applicants will complete the L1 year residency on a Semester based schedule Aug-May, every other Wednesday afternoons from 3:00-4:30 PM. starting August 30th. Deadline to apply is September 4th.
• The competencies in Level 1 are designed to help participants to discover and begin developing disciples who are demonstrating a desire to grow and mature in Christ.
• Northstar Church will provide residents with hands-on training, contextual field trips, and many other resources for the Equip Residency. Upon completion of the residency, residents will have a comprehensive ministry notebook of assessments, coaching, and residency assignments. EQUIP RESIDENCY L1 COMPETENCIES
The competencies in L1 have been built to discover and begin developing those disciples who are demonstrating a desire to grow and mature in Christ. They may also be displaying the potential to be a missional leader in the church, a church planting team member, and/or a lead church planter.
