Sending Prayer
The purpose of Sending Prayer is to call on the Lord of the Harvest to grow His Kingdom. The secondary goal is to bring awareness to the missional work of our members and partners both globally and locally. In Jesus’ prayer in John 17:18, Jesus prayed to the Father saying, “As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world.” The Sending Prayer is a portion of the worship service at each campus at 10am on the First Sunday of the month. Join us as we call on the Lord of the Harvest to send laborers from Northstar Church to make disciples.
Cross Community Church | New Orleans
Cross Culture Community Church was birthed from a multiplicity of ministries of which my wife and I were part, such as marriage strengthening, Church without Walls (a homeless ministry we started) and an evangelism group. The Lord gave me a burden to plant a church where these different walks of life came together under one roof in the worship of Him through salvation in Christ to become disciple makers of Him. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we are a multicultural, multi-generational, multi-echelon church planted in the historic neighborhood of Gentilly in the heart of New Orleans. Our vision is to become a church planting church unleashing disciplemakers into a world that desperately needs Jesus.
